Hiking Inca Trails through Huchuy Qosqo and Pisac ruins is a unique experience, only for tough mountain trekkers. Those are two separate Inca Trail sections. The first takes you to Huchuy Qosqo ruins and the other through Pisac ruins. Expect beautiful scenery and a great view of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The trek is not only a visual marvel, but also a great slice of Incan history. If you have at least 2 days of acclimatization and you are not afraid of 8 hours of trekking then this package is perfect for you..

This trip is for people who:

The trip varies between 3400 and 4250 m. above sea level. We advise you to bring warmer clothes as it is cold in the evening and early mornings.

What to take with you?
  1. Small backpack for 2 or 3 days
  2. Comfortable trousers (preferably trekking ones), fast drying
  3. Long sleeve t-shirts
  4. Warm overclothes, the best is with hood
  5. Jacket (for example softshell) for cold evenings and nights or light down jacket
  6. Hat to save head, hears, neck from the sun
  7. Cap, gloves and scarf
  8. Rain jacket and rain trousers
  9. Sun cream with high UV protector
  10. Comfortable shoes for trekking – the best are the ones with a stabilizing ankle
  11. Sun glasses – for high mountains
  12. Headlight + set of batteries
  13. Medicines in case are taken on daily basis
  14. 5 liter of water minimum
  15. Personal stuff preferred for each trip

Day 1. Cusco – Inca Trail to Huchuy Qosqo – Inca Sacred Valley – Pisac ruins – Cusco

Huchuy Qosqo Inca ruins

Today we will start very early in the morning, around 6:00 am. Private transport will collect you from hotel/hostel and we will go to starting point of the trekking to Huchuy Qosqo ruins. Driving time is around 1.5 hour. During this part of the trip we will visit beautiful Huchuy Qosqo ruins located high up in the Inca Sacred Valley. Those areas are not crowded and we will have a chance to marvel at Urubamba Valley from on high.

Trekking time: 4 – 5 hours (depending on the speed and physical condition of the participants)
Maximum elevation: 4250 m. above sea level

Inca ruins in Pisac

On the way back from Huchuy Qosqo we will go to Inca Sacred Valley. We will drive to the next stop, Pisac ruins. Time between finishing one trekking and starting another will be around 1 hour. Before trekking we will stop in Pisac for a lunch. From the start of the trail in Pisac it is 2.5 hours trekking. Walking down into Inca Sacred Valley through the ruins, just before sunset, beautiful landscapes and perfect pictures are guaranteed.

After the day full of attractions we will drive back to Cusco around 6:00pm. Driving time is around 1 hour.

Trekking time: 2 -3 hours (depending on the speed and physical condition of the participants)
Maximum elevation: 3650 m. above sea level
