Each day participants will have an option to take part in different activities. During our 3 days program we will offer to:
During this trip we will take you to places where you will have the chance to see the longest river in the world, the Amazon. As a part of this adventure we offer you 2 nights in the Avatar Amazon lodge, which is on the Amazon river (around 1 hr boat ride from Iquitos and 8-10 minutes walking inside the jungle).
At 9:00 – 9:30 we will leave Iquitos. We will pick everyone up from the hotel and head towards the port. We will have a short visit to the Tour Operator’s office before entering the port in order to have short briefing before the trip. After arriving in the port, you will board the boat to ride on Nanay river in order to reach Amazon river.
On day one, just before arrival to the lodge, we will enjoy sightseeing at the Fundo Pedrito farm. Where you will have the chance to see jungle creatures like piranhas, caimans, turtles, parrots or anaconda.
You will go also to a viewing tower (around 26m tall) to see beautiful landscapes all around.
After lunch you will go with the guide for a botanical walk where you will have a chance to see the local fauna and flora.
After dinner there is another activity, this time it is quest to look for jungle creatures, which are nocturnal. You will have a chance to hear the sounds of cicadas, look for spiders (including tarantulas), mantis and more.

On this day we will start very early in the morning, because at 4:30am we will start the day with watching the sunrise (if the weather is good). It will be a perfect time for bird watching.
Around 8am we will have breakfast, which will be followed by a visit to the Yaguas community – one of the 23 communities which live in the Amazon area. The next stop of the trip is the natural reserve where you will get a chance to see monkeys, parrots, sluggards, and anaconda.
After coming back from the reserve we will have time for lunch and relaxing. After resting we will have time for fishing and meeting the piranhas.
This is not end of activities! If anyone wants to swim in the Amazon river, you will get a chance today. There is also an option to get a facial mud treatment (available only in summer), Before dinner there is time for watching the pink and grey dolphins.
After dinner there will be time for rest.

After breakfast we will see an almost 500 year old tree, Ceiba. Also called, “La Ceiba de la Selva” by the Huimba.
After that we will collect our luggage from the lodge, and around 12:30pm we will take the boat to Iquitos (arriving in the city around 4:00 – 4:30pm). This is the end of the trip, where we will say our goodbyes and send you on to your next adventures!
